Student Work- Print: Typographic Tattoo

This project was for my Typography I class at Corcoran and explores the possibility of turning type into a tattoo. I noticed the font Herculanium possessed varied strokes- similar to that found in Japanese kanji. Using that as an influence, I took my inititials "J-V-T," and came up with this design. The bigger size is meant to illustrate the overall design, while the smaller size represents the tattoo's actual size, which is roughly 1-inch in diameter.
